Program Description
There is
a great need to develop and maintain safe affordable housing in our
communities. Generally the elderly and individuals on fixed incomes
who own their homes have sufficient income to pay their bills and
mortgage obligations. They do not have sufficient income or skills
to maintain the house and perform repairs as housing ages.
The home
rehabilitation program is designed to maintain housing stock in our
communities. This program is designed to assist low-income
individuals who own their own homes to live in safe, comfortable,
and affordable housing. The program provides basic rehabilitation
services to eligible homes in need of repair.
