Head Start Mission

The mission of the NEOCAA Head Start Program is to provide comprehensive child development services for all enrolled children. Head Start also provides a supportive environment for families of these children by using community resources to help families achieve their goals.  Educational services are located in 21 classrooms in 9 centers in Craig, Delaware and Ottawa Counties. Support services - medical, dental, transportation, and other - are provided by Family Service Workers together with community partners. Services for children with special needs are coordinated by the Head Start Disability Manager in cooperation with area public schools.
